Harvesting a Late Season Clip

In the pursuit of a long fibre, Longwool fleeces can sometimes be troublesome. Matting of fibres and broken staples add to the woes of a wool producer.

So with this in mind we decided to take a late season shear. About three weeks ago we took we harvested our lamb fleeces and the pictures below show how it unfolded.
